Dr. Richard Fugler, originally from Northeast Texas, began his education at Texas A & M University where he studied zoology. Choosing to pursue dentistry, he attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Continuing his studies, he completed his medical degree, internship in General Surgery, and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Beyond an educational course that spanned 14 years, Dr. Fugler continues to stay current in the latest knowledge and techniques in oral surgery through continuing education. He holds distinction as a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Fugler has maintained a private practice in Lake Jackson since 1998. He provides a wide range of dental surgical procedures with special emphasis on the placement of dental implants.
Outside the office, Dr. Fugler enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing guitar. He is also widely known around Brazoria County as an avid outdoorsman.
